Privacy policy
Standinkey for Windows and Standinkey for Android · effective 6 October 2026
In short: Standinkey collects nothing about you. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no crash reporting. What you type, say and point at travels from your tablet to your PC over your own network, is used there, and is not sent to us or to anyone else.

What the apps handle, and where it goes

Network connections
Between your tablet and PC: a connection on your local network, encrypted with TLS, accepted only from a tablet paired with a PIN shown on the PC; or Bluetooth, if you use the tablet as a Bluetooth keyboard.
To the internet, the apps only download files, and only these:
- Language packs, from GitHub Pages (
yuri-parfentcov.github.io), when a language is installed or updated. - The speech recognition model, from GitHub, the first time you dictate.
- The spelling model, from Hugging Face, the first time you use the spelling fix.
Those services see the request, as any website does (your IP address and the file asked for), under their own privacy policies: GitHub, Hugging Face. Nothing about you or your typing is sent with it.
Permissions on the tablet
Microphone, for dictation. Bluetooth, to act as a Bluetooth keyboard. Network access, to reach your PC and download language packs. Notifications, to show that the keyboard is connected. Each is used only for that.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete; everything the apps keep is on your own devices, and uninstalling them removes it. If you have questions under the GDPR or any other law, write to info@zenrepublic.es.
Children
Standinkey is a general-purpose tool, not directed at children, and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new effective date.
